Hi there 👋 Nice to meet you!
I’m Ashita Jain, a passionate UX designer currently working at JP Morgan & Chase, United Kingdom.
Design has been an integral part of my life, helping me solve complex problems with creativity and empathy. Growing up, I was deeply inspired by my father, an entrepreneur in furniture design and manufacturing. Watching artisans at work sparked my curiosity about human behavior, and I aspired to bridge the gap between craftsmanship and technology.
With a background in Computer Science Engineering, I explored programming languages and their applications before shifting my focus to Human-Computer Interaction. I pursued a Master’s in Communication Design at DAIICT, where I deepened my skills in User Research, Information Design, and Ethnography, exploring topics from Rabari community studies to designing a household energy analysis application.
My career spans diverse industries, from education and healthcare to financial services and security, where I have worked at startups and global firms like JP Morgan and ServiceNow.
Currently I’m a Senior UX Designer, I specialize in UX strategy, research, interaction design, and systems thinking. My work has improved digital experiences for private banking, enhanced parent-teacher engagement for early education, and helped streamline complex KYC processes for financial clients.
Beyond work, I’m passionate about continuous learning. I’ve attended global design workshops, including MIT India Initiative, HCI IIT Bombay, and UCL’s Human Factors for Digital Health.
When I’m not designing, you’ll find me running marathons, practicing yoga, or diving into books. I believe great design lies at the intersection of technology, psychology, history, politics, and human impact.
